After a hectic day at work, if you are given the option to relax in a quite little corner, with food and drinks being served to you, wouldn't you accept the offer?
It was a busy Wednesday for me at work. When my husband came to pick me up from my office, I was literally moaning about the rough day at work. He suggested we visit Sunset Grill and Pub - a place we had been planning to visit since months and chill out the evening there. We headed off to Seletar Airport amidst all open fields, runways and aircrafts. There we found a little corner at the end where the restaurant is located. So there we headed off to...
The restaurant offers western cuisine but its specialty is buffalo chicken wings with a varied level of spice ranging from Level 1 (Least Spicy) to Level 10 (Most Spicy). We were daring enough to try out Level 5 chicken wings. When the waitress served us the Level 5 chicken wings, the aroma of red dried chillies filled our senses and we knew at that instance that this is gonna be a lot more than we had bargained for. With just 4 chicken wings, I had 3 bottles of Corona Beer and 2 jugs of water. It was much more than I had imagined. I can still feel the tinge of spice on my tongues. I am certainly going for Level 3 the next time.
There is a different pricing for the different levels of chicken wings. The beer is relatively cheaper. Overall, it will cost an average of $35 per person to enjoy food and drinks at the place.
The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant. There are tables indoors as well as outdoors facing the runway. It is not a fine dining restaurant but an average restaurant which is good for family and friends to catch up after a busy evening or during weekends. It is usually very crowded even on weekdays. It is recommended to reserve a table in order to avoid long waiting times.
